Staff: Branden McDowell (joint ownership with Rodney and Amy Goble)
Branden has worked in physical therapy/sports medicine since 1996. Branden received a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Michigan-Flint in 2003. After graduation he worked in a hospital organization as a physical therapist and supervisor. During that time, he furthered his education in Manual Therapy through the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy where he plans to complete his OMPT as well as his Doctorate in Manipulative Therapy from Andrew's University. Branden is also certified in SportMetrics which is an injury prevention program for athletes. Branden's other specialty is Aquatic Therapy. He has developed many programs from plyometric strength training programs for athletes to programs for Cerebral Palsy patients to patients with Fibromyalgia, Multiple Sclerosis, and low back pain. Branden's main philosophy is to provide a well rounded approach to treatment including therapeutic exercise, aquatic therapy, manual therapy, and massage therapy and then push a life-style change for people to get involved in a wellness program to maintain after therapy.
Branden has also been active in educational programs around the area. He has been an assistant lab instructor in manual therapy courses at U of M-Flint, a Family Practice and Pediatric Resident Instructor, as well as a clinical advisor and educator for physical therapy students from many universities throughout the state. Branden is also a CPR Instructor.
