Staff - Nicole Lindholm, DPT
Nicole Lindholm is a graduate of Grand Valley State University Physical Therapy program, receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in 2004 and her Doctoral Degree in 2007. She completed her doctoral research on the Effects of Strength Training on Balance for Individuals with Parkinson’s Disease. Her research was presented at the American Physical Therapy Associations Combined Sections Meeting in Nashville, Tennessee.
Following graduation, Nicole joined Michigan Rehabilitation Specialists of Hartland where she gained experience in the outpatient setting. During this time, she participated in several continuing education courses emphasizing various manual therapy techniques for the spine and extremities. Nicole believes in the integration of patient education, manual therapy techniques and functional-based exercise programs to help patients meet their goals of living an active and healthy lifestyle. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the orthopedic section of the APTA. Nicole enjoys running and biking and has participated in several races over the last few years. She is very pleased to join the Plymouth community as head physical therapist of MRS Plymouth.
