Staff: Carol Glenn, MPT
Carol received her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Oakland University in 2000. She joined Michigan Rehabilitation Specialists in 2004, when she began working with doctors and patients in the occupational medicine setting. She joined the MRS South Lyon team in 2008, and was thrilled to be working in her hometown.
Carol has taken many courses over the years to further her knowledge and to give her a well-rounded approach to helping her patients achieve their goals. She believes in using hands-on techniques, and uses a combination of manual therapy, exercise and patient education in the treatment of her patients. Education is important for patients to take an active role in their rehabilitation, and the knowledge gained can help prevent further injuries.
Carol is an active participant and competitor in the Japanese martial art of Shotokan Karate, and has been so for many years. In 2009 she won the National Senior Women’s Kumite (sparring) championship and took second place in Kata (forms). She is currently training to become a certified instructor and certified judge.
Carol is married and has 2 beautiful daughters. She values and cherishes her time with them and tries to attend all their school and sports activities. She and her family have been members of the South Lyon community for 18 years. She is an active member of her church in New Hudson, and also leads the youth choir. She has been involved with the Parent-Teacher-Organizations at her daughter’s schools, as well as the booster clubs for the sports in which they participate.
Carol organized a girls’ middle school level lacrosse club six years ago in South Lyon. Her husband joined her as coach in the second year, and together they have watched the sport grow in South Lyon and the surrounding communities. Carol loves living and working in the South Lyon community, and enjoys helping her friends, neighbors, and community members with their physical therapy needs.
Staff: Paul Iamarino, MPT
Paul graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology. He then went on to complete his Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan in 1999. In the last 10 years, Paul has developed a broad spectrum of experience in the field. He started his career at a spine facility where he worked directly with on-staff physicians in the treatment and management of back/neck pain and spinal disorders. Paul then spent several years at a large orthopedic facility. This allowed him once again to work in unison with all of the physicians. Here he was able to develop his knowledge of numerous surgical interventions and their postoperative physical therapy management.
Paul then took advantage of the opportunity to begin his tenure at Michigan Rehabilitation Specialist. He started at the Hamburg facility, where he worked for a year and a half before seeing a chance to become part of the South Lyon Community. Paul now works at MRS of South Lyon and is an active member of the South Lyon Chamber of Commerce.
Paul and his wife Dannielle have two beautiful daughters. Together they enjoy time on the lake participating in water sports. In addition, Paul’s passions include ice hockey and mountain biking.
Staff: Rodney and Amy Goble
Rodney and Amy Goble are the sole owners of MRS, Inc. and independently opened their first Michigan Rehabilitation Specialists clinic in Hamburg in May of 1999. Since then they have partnered with other physical therapists to open several additional MRS locations in the Southeast Michigan region. Rodney and Amy attribute much of the company’s success to their focus on patient-therapist relationships as well as close communication with referring physicians. Over the past 10 years MRS has been blessed in many ways, including wonderful support from local community leaders and business owners. MRS has also established great relationships with local community recreation and high school athletic systems, and value the opportunity to service these groups in any way they can. In addition to providing physical therapy and athletic training services in the community, Rodney and Amy are passionate about their Wellness Center, which offers many different programs; including fitness memberships, sports and core performance training, strength and cardiovascular training, group fitness classes, physical fitness assessments, and massage therapy.
